In Part 1 of my Field Trip to Joshua Tree National Park, I shared a hike I did in the southern part of the park. In Part 2, I return to the park on the hunt for Joshua trees! This was not the first Joshua tree I saw, nor the largest, but this is my favorite photo because I feel like this tree looks somehow regal, standing apart from his brothers and sisters. Plus, I couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque day, with puffy white clouds leaving interesting shadow patterns on the mountains in the distance!
